Holiday Tree Collection and Light Recycling Programs

Holiday Tree Collection: On Wednesdays during the month of January ONLY, Lakeshore Recycling Systems (LRS) will pick up holiday trees at no cost. Remove all lights, ornaments and garland and place the tree at the parkway behind the curb. For questions about this service contact LRS at (773) 685-8811.

Holiday Light Recycling: Have your holiday lights lost their twinkle? The Village offers free recycling programs for holiday lights. Drop off holiday lights at the Public Works Service Building (320 Hazel Avenue) through April 1, 2023. Please make sure to remove any garland, ribbons, bags and strings.
