The 13^th annual Glencoe Festival of Art, taking place in the downtown on Park and Vernon Avenues, features more than 90 juried artists showing and selling paintings, sculpture, ceramics, glass, jewelry and more! Family-friendly (and dog-friendly, too!), there are activities just for kids and live artist demonstrations, as well as non-stop live music along with restaurants and cafes on the festival route offering delicious meals and tasty treats. The show is also wheelchair and stroller accessible. Enhanced safety measures will be employed this year. Attendees are invited to bring their gently used wall art to the festival where it will be donated to the Chicago Furniture Bank, a nonprofit that distributes furnishings and art to those leaving shelters and moving into permanent housing. 

Parking Information:
Visitors to the festival are encouraged to park in the Metra commuter lots. 

Traffic Impacts:
Vernon Avenue will close to traffic between Tudor and Temple Courts and Park Avenue will close from the western boundary of downtown to Village Court starting Friday, July 22 at 5 p.m. through late Sunday, July 25.

Safety & Security:
Given recent events in Highland Park, the Public Safety Department has worked closely with the event organizer, Amdur Productions, to plan for this event. The Public Safety Department will have an increased presence and Amdur Productions has contracted private security for the event.
