Celebrate Pride Month with the Village of Glencoe and the Council for Inclusion and Community! Each year in June, Pride Month honors the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan and celebrates the contributions of the LGBTQ individuals in the United States. The Village strives to be a welcoming and inclusive community for all individuals, and is recognizing Pride Month through a Village Board proclamation, installing street light banners in the downtown and in the work of the Glencoe Council for Inclusion and Community.
Visit with the Glencoe Council for Inclusion and Community at the June 2 Farmers Market to kick-off Pride Month. Receive a free "Glencoe Welcomes" bracelet, take a selfie in the "Glencoe Welcomes" photo frames and declare what inclusion and community means to you.
