The Village, District #35 and the Glencoe Park District invite student volunteers to participate in the 2018 Student Earth Day Clean-Up and Celebration!
- When: 9:30-11 a.m., Friday, April 27, 2018 (Students must be picked up at Kalk Park by Noon)
- What: Six areas throughout Glencoe have been designated for student clean-up activities. Adult supervision will be provided at each site. The Clean-Up will be followed by lunch and beverages served at Kalk Park.
- Attire: Students need to dress appropriately for the weather and activities. The Village of Glencoe will provide gloves and bags.
- Inclement weather: Clean-Up Day will take place rain or shine. You may call the Park District’s Special Event Weather Hot Line at (847) 835-7970, or the Park District office, (847) 835-3030, after 8:30 a.m. on April 27 in the case of extreme weather.
In order to participate in the Earth Day Clean-Up activities and Celebration, parents must complete and submit the registration form below indicating your child’s 1st and 2nd clean-up location choices by Friday, April 20. Please be sure to click acceptance box for Waiver and Release of all claims. An adult must accompany all K through 2nd grade students.
