Registration Now Open!
Are you ready to make a difference? Do you care about the environment? Then you're a great fit for Glencoe's annual Student Earth Day Clean-Up! The Village of Glencoe, School District #35 and the Glencoe Park District invite you to register below. Each student will be assigned to one of six designated clean-up areas throughout the community.
How to Participate:
- The first step is to sign up. Parents must complete and submit the permission form (below) by Friday, April 19. Please indicate your first two preferred sites. Families are welcomed to work together on the same site. Note that a parent must accompany any student who is K-2nd grade. Other parent volunteers are also welcomed (and encouraged) to register to attend and assist at each site. For more information about being a parent volunteer, please contact the Village of Glencoe Public Works office at (847) 835-4134 or e-mail Robin Pierson at email@example.com.
- Once you complete and submit the below registration form, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with your child’s assigned location (as well as your location if you are volunteering). Please arrive at your assigned location no later than 9:30 a.m. on Monday, April 22.
- Students will be provided with gloves and trash bags but should come dressed appropriately for the weather (and ready to get a bit dirty).
- As in past years, clean-up activities will be followed by lunch served at Kalk Park. Parents are responsible for arranging to pick up their children from Kalk Park no later than noon.
