Village Receives Distinguished Budget Award
The Village of Glencoe has received the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the current budget from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). This award is the highest form of recognition in governmental budgeting and represents a significant achievement by the entity. In order to receive the budget award, the entity had to satisfy nationally recognized guidelines for effective budget presentation. These guidelines are designed to assess how well an entity’s budget serves as: a policy document, a financial plan, an operations guide and a communications device.  This is the 16th year that the Village of Glencoe has received this award.

Financial Reports
The Finance Department produces various financial reports on a monthly and annual basis.  These reports provide valuable information regarding the status of the Village's financials to Department Heads and to the Village Board.  Proper financial reporting is necessary to maintain our rating as a AAA community by Standard & Poor's.
