Preservation Ordinance Research

The Glencoe Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) met with the Village Board during the September 23, 2021 and January 20, 2022 Committee of the Whole meetings to discuss the current state of historic preservation within the community and potential modifications to the Village’s existing preservation ordinance, Village Code Chapters 26A and 26B.

During the January 20, 2022 Committee meeting, the Board directed the Commission and staff to conduct further research on proposed modifications and report back to the Board with more information.
