To register to vote, you must be:
- A U.S. citizen.
- At least 18 years-old by Election Day (beginning on January 1, 2016 any 17 year old citizen who will turn 18 by November 8, 2016 General Election is eligilble to register to vote in the March 15, 2016 Primary).
- A resident of your precinct at least 30 days prior to Election Day.
- Not be convicted and in jail.
- Not claim the right to vote anywhere else.

to electronically fill out the application to register to vote, or to change the address on your voter registration record. After completing the application, print the form, sign the application, and place in a stamped envelope and mail no later than 28 days before the next election to : Cook County Clerk David Orr, 69 W.
