New Residents

Welcome to Our New Neighbors
On behalf of the Village of Glencoe and it's officials and staff, welcome to our beautiful community! We are pleased that you have chosen Glencoe as your new home, and hope that you will share our pride in living here.

Please visit our Village Hall (located in the middle of downtown Glencoe on Village Court), open 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Our Finance Division can help you set up your water service and explain how the Village's vehicle sticker program works (call (847) 835-4113 to set-up service). The Administration and Finance Department would be happy to help answer any questions you may have about our other services and how to get involved. Should you need them, contact the Public Safety Department 24-hours a day either for an emergency (dial 9-1-1) or for non-emergency issues (please call (847) 835-4112).

Among the best ways to learn about the Village is to navigate around our Village website. You will find current information about Village special events (such as our Memorial Day celebrations and Fourth of July festivities) as well as helpful general information and links to other useful sites. To learn about upcoming events and activities, watch the mail for our community newsletter Inside Glencoe which is mailed in January, May and September. Get weekly updates from the Village delivered right to your inbox via Village eNews and stay on top of urgent information via our emergency call-out system, Smart911

One of the most important factors making Glencoe such a great community is the participation by its citizens in community affairs. Glencoe provides numerous opportunities for everyone to make a contribution - whether through the Village government, District 35, Glencoe Park District and Glencoe Library Boards or other community activities. We depend heavily on that participation, and I hope that you will become involved in whatever area is of most interest to you.

Again, a hearty welcome to our Village! I hope to have the opportunity to meet you in the near future.

Sincerely,

Howard Roin
Village President
