Commuter Parking Permit Information

As of mid-January 2021, Glencoe commuter parking lot customers now have more user-friendly parking permit purchase options. Over the past several months, the Village has been upgrading and automating the Village’s overall parking management system. The customer-focused enhancements center on moving from a manual process requiring parking permits to be displayed in parked vehicles, or a daily cash fee being deposited into a coin box, to an automated process that ties a virtual parking permit to the parking customer’s vehicle(s) by license plate.

In addition, commuter parking lot customers will no longer be required to purchase parking permits at Village Hall; virtual permits can be purchased 24/7 via the internet, smartphone application or kiosk.

Purchasing Options:

For Quarterly or Annual Permits: For Daily Permits:

In addition to purchasing permits, customers will also be able to appeal parking citations or purchase annual or quarterly permits at the Payment Center (villageofglencoe.org/pay).

Commuter Lot Parking Permit fees remain $270 for an annual permit, $75 for a quarterly permit and $3 for a daily permit. Annual and quarterly permits can be purchased any time throughout the year and are valid from the date of purchase.

Parking permits are required in commuter parking lots/areas from 6 to 10 a.m., Monday – Friday. Unless otherwise posted, no parking is allowed from 2 to 6 a.m. daily. Click here for general Village parking information.
