Glencoe Patriotic Days

PatsDayFundLogoGlencoe Patriotic Days Fund

There are no other days in Glencoe that exemplify the spirit of community as much as Memorial Day and the 4th of July. We hope that you are able to take part in these events once again this year!

Below you’ll find event details as well as a link to make an online donation to the Glencoe Patriotic Days Fund. Should you prefer to send a check, please download the Patriotic Days Donation Slip here. Much of the cost of these events, including the fireworks display, is made possible by your generous contributions. Thank you for your continued support of these Glencoe traditions!

Memorial Day Ceremony

Rain Location: Takiff Center
Join the Village and the Glencoe Historical Society as we honor the many Glencoe residents who sacrificed their lives in service to our nation. This year will commemorate the 100th anniversary of those Glencoe residents who served in World War I.

4th of July Celebrations

The most celebrated day in the Village begins at the train station with the Glencoe Rotary Club Fun-Run, followed by pre-school games and Glencoe’s Got Talent at Kalk Park and the parade in Downtown Glencoe. The day rounds out with food vendors, live music and fireworks at Lakefront Park. Stay tuned for specific times and locations.
