The following is an illustrative summary of benefits offered to full-time non-sworn employees of the Village of Glencoe as of February 23, 2010. These benefits are subject to change from time to time. In addition, new employees are expected to familiarize themselves with Village Policy prior to employment. These documents should not be construed as a contract of employment.

| Medical Benefits |
Blue Cross/Blue Shield HMO or PPO for individual employees and eligable dependents. |
| Dental Benefits |
Delta Dental administered dental insurance plan for individual employee and eligible dependents. |
| Life Insurance |
$75,000 Term Life (for non-union employees), no employee cost. Opportunity to purchase additional voluntary life at 100% employee cost through IMRF sponsored program. |
| Pension |
Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF). 4.5% mandatory employee contribution. Governed by state statute. Village contribution level determined by actuarial estimate.

International City/County Management Association Retirement Corporation (ICMA-RC). Voluntary participation only. |

| Employee Assistance Program |
100% confidential; set number of sessions with EAP, then coordination of coverage with medical insurance. This program is currently provided by Bensinger, Dupont and Associates. |
| Vacation |
2 weeks per year through 5 years, then incremental increases thereafter to 25 days after 24 years of service. Vacation hours earned per pay period worked. |
| Holiday |
7 fixed holidays and 5 floating holidays for non-union employees. Fixed holidays include New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. |
| Sick Leave |
Employees earn 1 day of sick leave per month of service. A percentage of surplus sick leave value is put into the Retirement Health Savings at the end of the fiscal year. |
| Disability |
Available through IMRF both short-term and long-term. Public Safety disability benefits are also available through the Police Pension program. |
| Retirement Health Savings |
Eligible employees can convert sick leave on an annual basis certain value of accrued and unused sick to a retirement health savings plan. Accumulated sick vacation and holiday also converted subject to age of employee at time of separation or retirement. Values associated with sick leave, vacation and holiday leave subject to personnel policy of the Village.
