The Village works with the Illinois Risk Management Association (IRMA) to develop policies that will avoid serious injury or accidents on the job. As well, the Village encourages proper training and knowledge of these policies for all employees involved in providing services for the Village. If an employee is injured in this capacity, certain benefits are in place to assist that employee with medical care and financial needs.
