The Public Works Parkway Division provides landscape maintenance to public property areas throughout the Village. Maintenance activities include mowing, planting and pruning of landscape materials on all Village green space and downtown planting areas. Parkway crews provide litter collection, and parkway restoration caused by Village utility repairs, damage from snow/ice control operations and right-of-way tree removals. Residents can assist the department after a parkway restoration by watering newly planted sod or grass seed.
