Grading Plan

Home : Public Works : Engineering : Grading Plan

Grading plans are normally required for all new development (teardown) and for additions and detached garages as determined by the Village Engineer. If a grading plan is required, it needs to be prepared by a licensed civil engineer of land surveyor. A checklist is available at the Village Hall that states criteria necessary on the plan. Some existing utility information and benchmark information may be obtained from the Public Works Department by completing and submitting a request for information (FOIA).

Questions regarding grading plans within the Village of Glencoe should be directed to Village Engineer Christine Van Dornick, P.E. at (847) 835-4111.
