The Engineering Division's purpose and responsibilities include the following:

• Coordinates for the provision and maintenance of Village's infrastructure through planning, design, and construction of capital improvements.
• Reviews plans for new construction and provides for drainage and foundations.
• Issues grading permits.
• Conducts traffic and parking studies.
• Responds to public inquiries regarding floodplain and drainage issues. 
• Review of utility permits.

The Engineering Division assures that the design, construction and maintenance of public and private major development improvments are in compliance to Village standards and specifications.
